Doctor Adventive's replacement As Sorcerer Supreme testament be chosen this December
A new Sorcerer Supreme will formally be named in December 22's Death of Medico Strange #4, the penultimate issue of the noncomprehensive series in which Sir Leslie Stephen Strange is murdered below mysterious circumstances, leaving the occupation of Sorcerer Supreme open for a new candidate.
Written by Jed MacKay with art from Lee Garbett and covers from Kaare Andrews, the limited serial launches with Death of Fix Strange #1 on September 22 - though speculation on who could take Strange's place as Sorcerer Supreme has been going on since the title was announced a few months ago.
Marvel's latest brush up of advance solicitations for Destruction of Doctor Strange and its tie-in titles reveals that Death of MD Strange #4 will name the Sorcerer Ultimate, just offers little to no hints at who Earth's new primary magical guardian may atomic number 4.
The issue's cover offers atomic number 102 further insight, depicting a silhouetted figure whose body is mostly obscured by the shape of Strange's iconic Mask of Levitation, one of the artifacts passed down to those World Health Organization take the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme.
Strange's death won't be the first clock he's been replaced atomic number 3 Thaumaturge Supreme. He once lost the title to Doctor Voodoo before receiving it back as a result of Doctor Voodoo's dying and Resurrection. Along with showing off the previously announced Last of Doctor Strange: X-Men/Blackened Knight #1 tie-in one-shot, the reveal of when we'll assemble the new Sorcerer Supreme also enclosed information near other just-announced wed-in, Death of MD Strange: Blade from writer Danny Lore and creative person Dylan Burnett.
In Death of Doctor Freaky: Blade, the titular Daywalker deals with the backwash of the destruction of his old Midnight Sons friend in the vampire community, taking on Dracula and his and then-called Vampire Commonwealth.
Death of Doctor Curious: Blade #1 is due outer December 1, followed by Death of Doctor Strange: X-Men/Black Dub #1 on December 15, and Death of Doctor Other #4 on Dec 22.
